An ATS is a friend to recruiters, as it helps them efficiently manage large volumes of applications in a short time. However, for applicants, it can be a challenge. Strong candidates may be overlooked if their resumes are not in an ATS-friendly format, due to issues with layout or missing a specific keyword.
