Why are the Apple products so expensive?

Apple iPhones...Xs...Xs Max...selling at a price from 999US$ to 1499US$!

True, Apple ecosystem is unique, but is the selling price justified?

Apple is a trillion dollar company now but removing the dongle worth 9US$ from the box seems to be unjustified. Further, removing 128GB from the phone line also indicates greed.

I have started feeling that Apple has lost the edge it used to have when Steve Jobs was around.

Looks like Tim Cook is more concerned about on how to fill the coffers!!
