Apple Now Says It's Okay to Use Disinfecting Wipes on Your iPhone
What's New Now 3/10/20 I keep looking for silver linings in this coronavirus outbreak. People are dying, so it isn't easy. That said, if we start paying a little more attention to the things that can make us sick, that is a good thing. The fact that almost no one actually cleans their phone is a problem, especially given that 75 percent of Americans use their phone on the toilet. Apple previously warned consumers to avoid using liquid "solvents" on an iPhone, but now the company says using disinfectant wet wipes is fine. Safe to say the same is true of Android phones, which can also carry bugs. --Dan Costa
