Apple Might Surpass HP to Become All-In-One Pc Supplier
If we talk about sales, Apple might become the leader in the all-in-one PC market. Thanks to its new 24-inch iMac, this new iMac could help Apple overtake HP as the market leader, as per Digitimes.
According to the latest statistics, HP is currently the leader in All-in-One PCs with total sales of 925,000 units in the fourth quarter of 2020, while Apple is just behind with 860,000 units.
The third position is Lenovo with 731,000 units sold. Speculations suggest that Apple will overtake Hewlett-Packard in the first quarter of this year to become the newest all-in-one PC sales champion. The production defects vary from one manufacturer to another. All of this doesn’t really affect Apple, however. Currently, all of the iMac computer settings and colors are in an optional state.

This will further expand Apple’s advantages in the market. Apple recently released an all-iMac laptop in a new design. The new model uses a flat body and colorful casing and has a 24-inch 4.5K retina display. The launch of the new product will further boost the vitality of the Apple market. Analysts assume that this new Apple iMac will take advantage of the chip shortage situation.
This is actually the basis for predicting Apple will overtake HP.Currently, chipmakers are prioritizing their shipments to support more premium products in the AIO market, which means there aren’t enough chips for low-end products.
The new iMac has three versions that retail for $ 1,299, $ 1,499, and $ 1,699. Three options come with multiple color options as well as with Silicon M1 processors. They also come with 8 GB of RAM, solid-state storage and two Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports. Since then, pre-orders for the iMacs have begun, and official shipping begins May 21st.
