Apple may be on the hook for billions of euros for its alleged “illegal aid through a sweetheart deal in return for creating jobs in the nation [Ireland].” A worst case scenario would put Apple out $19 billion, Bloomberg reports. If the ruling goes through, it will do nothing to help the already increasing tensions between the U.S. and Europe, which the U.S. believes targets American companies unfairly when it comes to taxes.

AT&T is in the clear for a lawsuit that claimed it reduced Internet speeds if customers with unlimited data plans reached certain thresholds. However, AT&T is not in the clear yet. The FTC may choose to appeal, and the Federal Communications Commission proposed a fine of $100 million for these slowdowns.

Mylan’s CEO has some ‘splainin’ to do. Mylan, the maker of the recently controversially priced EpiPen, said a decade ago that “authorized generics” -- like the generic pen Mylan introduced today in place of EpiPen -- “were a grave threat to the generic drug industry and hurt consumers.” The generic version will cost $300 compared to EpiPen’s $600. In related news, Myland’s CEO has been asked by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform to send documents “related to the fast-increasing price” of EpiPens.

The Icahn touch: Nutrition company Herbalife’s stocks gained as much as 3.5% after Carl Icahn bought more than 2.3 million shares. Shares had fallen Friday after investor Bill Ackman had said Icahn was hoping to sell his stake in Herbalife. The two have very publicly fought over the fate of the company since 2013. Get the back-and-forth here.

Iron Man IRL: Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg will unveil a Jarvis-like home assistant who helps control things like lighting and air conditioning based on face and voice recognition, TechCrunch reports. No word yet on how quickly this would enter the consumer market, but Zuckerberg will shares more details next month.

Apple will officially unveil its next big thing (whatever that may be) on September 7. Rumor has it the impending iPhone 7 will feature a rear set of cameras that will “take far better photos” than any of the iPhones out on the market. We may also see an updated Apple Watch, although “there have been reports that the company is struggling to update the device, amid tepid sales.”

The "Covert Art" blurb contains a couple of errors and needs to be corrected. "[O]ther nurse" should be "another nurse" or "other nurses." "Allergys" should be "allergies."

Just a wild guess... Does it have anything to do with the recent VW penalty in the US?

Simple, just stop doing business in the EU. Socialists eventually nationalize everything anyways so get out (tech-exit) now while it is a popular option.
