It took some time for Apple to release their AI features.

They released it, but they booked it only for their newer generation chips.

Ok, keeping it aside, the features are good, just like any other AI tools in the market, but it needs improvement.

Let's revisit the features quickly.?

#1 Writing Tool

Helps with summaries and tone changes,

But it kind of works only partially, not always accurately.

#2 Notification Summary

Combines multiple notifications into one summary,

But it's almost useless, as it often just clutters rather than simplifies.

#3 Genmoji

Generates custom emojis using AI,

But its utility might be limited to casual fun and not practical use.

#4 Image Playground

Generates images in a cartoon style,

But it's not suitable for realistic images.

#5 Priority Notifications

Highlights high-priority messages at the top,

But Gmail has had this feature for many years, so it's not unique.

#6 Photos App Cleanup

Removes unwanted elements from photos like the magic eraser tool from Google,

But it doesn’t offer anything new or advanced.

#7 Recording Summary

Records, transcribes, and summarizes audio, even annotates speakers,

But the summaries are not very accurate or useful.

#8 Visual Intelligence

Allows users to take pictures and ask questions about them,

But it relies on ChatGPT and is not a very new feature.

#9 ChatGPT Integration

Replaces Siri with ChatGPT for more advanced queries,

But it still doesn't gives the user experience as one might expect.

Apple Intelligence does introduce innovative features for Apple users, but it falls short in practical application.

The time they took to outshine the existing solution made them miss a lot of things.
