Applaud every exceptional experience

Each of us has had a lousy experience doing business with a business, service provider, or organization. It could have been because the business over-promised and under-delivered. It could have been because they took too long to respond when you had an issue with the service, or they never returned your phone calls.
On the other hand, at one time or another each of us has an exceptional experience doing business with a company.
They delivered as promised. Their response to your call was prompt, courteous, and professional. They made a special effort to contact you several days after delivery to make sure things were working to your complete satisfaction. You’d score them at the top of the scale––at a nine or ten.
When that occurs and you want to thank them, applaud them. Give them a thumbs up, or give them a happy face or you could tell a few friends (next time you see them).
Or better yet, write a review and post it on the company’s website, in the local newspaper, or with the local Better Business Bureau.
Your review doesn’t need to be long or complex. Simply applaud the service, the quality, their follow-up, and how they went the extra mile. You can also applaud the person or team members you worked with at the business.
You don’t need to explain specifically what the store personnel did. Instead, simply speak to speed, thoroughness, depth of knowledge, patience, and any other attributes that made you feel like you were their number one client of all time –– because you were and are!

2 年Of course, I have to add that a personal handwritten note of praise and recognition of an exceptional experience is something that can be read and re-read. And when you send a handwritten note to an employer about one of his or her employees, that note will hopefully end up in the employee’s personnel file. #HeartspokenNotes #HeartspokenBook
