Appeal to vote for me for President of National HRD Network, Pune

Dear Fellow Members.

Namaskar!

I write to you with an honest appeal to support my candidature for the Presidentship of the National HRD Network, Pune Chapter.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself:

My active affiliation with NHRDN Pune began in 2000.

Most of you are aware that for over 18 years, I have performed key roles like those of Executive Committee Member and General Secretary.

I am currently the Vice President of the Pune Chapter since 2019.?

I was a member of the team that designed and implemented programs to increase the visibility and profitability of the Pune chapter across the country.

One of my primary goals was to carve a prominent place for us on the national map of NHRDN. It makes me immensely proud to report that today, we are considered to be amongst the top 5 chapters across India.

Moreover, we have seen a multi-fold increase in our memberships and revenues in this period.?

Along with a wonderful core team, I have been involved in formulating ideas for and conducting conferences, seminars, and workshops, creating a platform for HR professionals to help enhance their competencies, and several CSR activities to increase awareness of the importance of HR among participants.

By designing and leading various Industry-Academia initiatives, we helped students adjust to the corporate culture, reducing the awkward gap that freshers usually face.

In the last 5 years, we have organised 2 National Summits on L&D and D&I, 60+ Webinars during the Pandemic, 10+ Certification Programs, 8+ Industry-Academia connects, and Co-hosted 1 National Conference.

And much more…

Through all these programs we have engaged thousands of HR professionals across India as well as overseas. This has led us to being the recipient of the Best Chapter Award in 2018 and 2020.?

I do believe that NHRDN has transformed the face of the HR field in our country, by giving it the recognition of a strategic function. And yet, there are further heights to be scaled as we participate in the journey of making India an economic superpower.?

Personally, I have had over two decades of intensive professional experience in the HR field, with which I aspire to establish a pool of leadership talent that will help build a powerful HR community.

Your support can further strengthen my commitment and my efforts to this cause.
