APPA Sets Up Members for Success with Annual Pet Business Bootcamp

Register now for APPA’s annual Pet Business Bootcamp, a two-day program packed with valuable tips and strategies from knowledgeable experts on how to grow your business in an ever-evolving industry – whether you're a veteran or new to the industry. The program offers six hours of virtual courses, live Q&A sessions and exclusive insights from industry professionals. Pet Business Bootcamp was developed to supply APPA members and other professionals with essential tools to drive success in the pet industry. A team of experienced speakers will present digestible information that can help your team accelerate their performance, take your business to the next level and stand out from competitors. This empowering and engaging program provides a solid framework of business basics participants can apply directly to their own ventures, structured in a manner that encourages open conversation and questions.

Fundamental lessons will be delivered by professionals from PetsPhD, Philips Pet Food & Supplies and Mello Sales, just to name a few of the experts featured in this program. Day One covers pet business basics, including the latest tips on preparing a business plan, product costing, proven ways to market your company and consumer direct marketing. Day Two takes a deep dive into the best methods for taking your pet products to market, including trade show participation, building a sales team, working with distributors, forging lasting retail relationships and the latest e-commerce strategy.

Registration fees are $249 for APPA members and $349 for non-members – that’s $100 in savings for members. The program also includes the opportunity to schedule free 1-on-1 consultations with bootcamp expert consultants.
