App development training for kids, is it required?.

As a businessman, I was into imparting computer education in schools, right from the per-school to class 10.

*For Per-schools we were offering multimedia Cd's,through which they were learning Alphabets, numbers & etc.

*For other class we were offering basic computer usages,basic & Microsoft office.

These skills are general & essential, so we were offering this.

Now new trend as popped up as APP Development for school kids, I was wondering can I venture into such business. Please share your thoughts & these are my thoughts.

Let us talk about positive:-

* Kids will learn something to do about the app .

* Learn a bit of development required to develop the app.

Let us talk about negative:-

*Now what is success rate of these apps getting succeeded.

*Nowadays, any app you want is readily available for less Rs 2000/-, since many developers have already developed, they are into such business & they are themselves are struggling to get a customers .

*Let us say, If the kid develop a app (chances are 1 in 100), which venture capitalist is going to fund, this kid.

* Will this kid is able to run a business, when many of app's funded by venture capitalist is itself is struggling for a survival( I am talking about a real big players) .

*Will this kid, be able to give business competition with giants, who themselves are struggling to make a profit.

* What about the main stream education?. Will the kid do the main stream education or business.

*How to cope up with main stream education & the app development. I, my self as a developer never tried to develop these skills because it is a different world altogether.

*We have just 24 hours, is it possible do all things in the world?.

* If the kids don't apply these skills,which literally becomes a waste. Are we ready with such infrastructures? where kids can do the experiment.

* As a technical trainer, I have trained 1000's students, I check their backgrounds what they have learnt in college, do they remember that ?. No.
