We wonder sometimes to check for for an availability of an App in the smartphone or Tablet before triggering the feature. Sample of this is Skype->Many of the pages in Apps have mobile nos which can inherit the Skype and can be called via Skype/Hangouts. This app availability function is presented for Hybrid Apps made out of Cordova/PhoneGap by a plugin:
