Apologies For Spelling Errors

Grammar remains important. Spelling might be out of your control. On Safari they try finishing my sentences. Some people can finish your sentences and it is nice because they are attuned to what you are saying. Others guess in a totally wrong direction.

One phrase I use commonly is "The hole just closed." It means the opportunity to do something else (e.g. merge into traffic) that was there a moment ago is not currently. My sister found this phrase to be graphic. I was thinking of a running back trying to make extra yardage, she assumed it was something vulgar.

Never kept me from using the phrase. At work there are openings to do other projects and they are miniscule. If I cannot complete the work I put it off until the opening arises again. None of which has to do with assumed words.

Sometimes I leave a comment, don't proofread it and Bicameral becomes Bicycle. This is not Wheel of Fortune. Why does the computer presume words? And why are they so off the wall?

It is rare that I would call out someone's spelling. From my glass house of poor handwriting (lest you think practice makes perfect- my poor penmanship has gotten worse over the years. Luckily articles are typed.) there were times when I did not close my O's. I write in a hurry.

Trying to meet a deadline causes me to put words on the page not really caring about how they look. Describing a bad experience at Hooter's made me wonder "What is Hector's?" Hooters without closing o's so they looked like e and c.

That error is more interesting than an expensive establishment where women were condescending as customer service. Never went back. I have not reread old volumes. There are probably ideas in those volumes which will give perspective on the present.

I also know it would be a restoration project. Writing is my legacy. That was a reaction to therapy sessions which were disposable. I learned nothing from the abundance of doctors to the point I cannot believe there are good therapists.

In the time it would take to find one I can cultivate actual relationships with equals who are not paid to care. The doctors acted like it was a mastermind. It was- never mind. Obviously plays on words are not going to make up for lost time.

Spelling errors or wasting time in bad relationships. Which is worse? Outsiders thought those were good relationships and someone was helping me. Like spell check- they guessed where my conversations would go and were completely wrong. At least I understand people who have words auto filled incorrectly and don't correct others so quickly.
