Apollo Tyres: Looking Ahead

Apollo Tyres: Looking Ahead

I can't quite believe that we are already in September. It feels like the months are flying by, but what a fantastic start to the year it's been. I have the utmost confidence, as a result of the hard work and dedication of the Apollo Tyres family, that our successes will continue into 2023.?

A highlight of the year was when former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited India, during which the two countries discussed UK-India trade and economic partnership. This came at an exciting time for Apollo Tyres as we announced the opening of our UK Digital innovation hub as part of our digital strategy to implement industry 4.0.??

‘Digitalisation’ is an extremely important pillar in our journey, and a key focus for the future as it will help us leapfrog to the next league and bring us closer to our vision. While there are many aspects to our digitalisation strategy, the fundamental will always be how we can use the large data set available within the company to improve productivity and efficiency across plants. We have started on this journey by creating the infrastructure on the cloud. This will enable our colleagues across multiple locations to collaborate to improve enterprise-wide decision making and improve our ROCE, one of the key factors for our sustainable profitable growth.?

Another pillar of focus, in which I am personally invested, is People. Aligned with our value of 'One Family,' we continue to work hard to make Apollo Tyres a learning organisation. I have often spoken about Good and Bad costs and I firmly believe that any cost on our people is always a ‘Good’ cost.

As part of this journey, we have introduced the Apollo Laureate programme for building leadership, focusing on creating a Laureate talent pipeline and establishing a common way to harmonise, select and develop talent for the future. We will be expanding the Laureate programme for more batches in FY23. It gives me great pleasure to say that through our internal talent management processes, we are able to identify and develop our next generation of leaders.?Apollo Tyres recruitment and onboarding will move?into global HR digitalisation and Employee Self Service.?

We have much to look forward to as we enter the last months of 2022. A gentle reminder that we all must remain cautious,?as Covid cases continues in India and the world, I urge you to continue to #MaintainTheDistance and follow protocols. Look out for one another as one family. Stay safe!?

Congrats Sir, we, KEY-TEC BV sales, rental and service, would like to be a Apollo service center in Belgium, we already need for our rental fleet about 250/300 pieces of industrial tires yearly, we would like to expand to service our customers, so this could be easy double, or triple the amount of tires, already send some emails to Amsterdam, but still no answer, can you, or somebody help me in the right direction please? Thanks in advance! Btw, we just won the award for being the best European Small Rental Company of the year 2023
