Apocalypse Now: Summer of Strangelove

Apocalypse Now: Summer of Strangelove

The first week of June ushers in a panic cycle as eco-fanatics push for travel bans and the specter of nuclear war, ignoring the impending fallout in the name of saving the planet.

RUSSIA TO BEGIN MISSILE TESTS OFF CALIFORNIA COAST TODAY

Putin's inner Cassandra shouts from the Kremlin’s minarets while Western "leaders" do Dr. Strangelove impressions instead of governing, gleefully playing chicken with a man who does not bluff. His latest move? Firing a few practice missiles off the northern California coast, a quaint little reminder that Russian firepower is alive and well. This isn’t some lukewarm Cold War rerun; it’s a NOTAM—Notice to Air Missions—that Silicon Valley skies might be sharing airspace with some Soviet-era nostalgia with finest cutting edge technology the 21st century arms race has to offer.

The fireworks are set begin 5.17.2024 and run for ten exhilarating days.

NATO Neocons and Climate Catastrophists alike, paragons of Western wisdom, could not care less about the economy, the country (i.e. the land itself) or the people who live on it. Like the deranged Dr. Strangelove they grin maniacally at the prospect of population control as the ultimate CO2 reduction strategy. Putin’s frantic warnings — "Are you sure you want this?" — fall on deaf ears. The undead techno-hawks and the woke eco-doves alike are salivating at the possibility of Armageddon, tasting the radioactive fallout in their sleep, safe beneath Denver Airport.

Welcome to the Panic Cycle, early June edition. The climate fanatics are itching to slap travel restrictions on your summer plans, targeting June 6th as the day to ground your vacations and save the planet. Less CO2, more control. Who needs a summer getaway when you can have a virtuous staycation under the watchful eye of Big Brother? And if they can sprinkle in a little nuclear chaos? Even better.

So here we are, hurtling toward a Strangelovian endgame where the ultimate post-apocalyptic question will be: Did we annihilate enough of humanity to save Mother Earth? As the doomsday clock ticks, Western leaders are riding the bomb, waving their hats, and hollering "Yeehaw!" all the way down.

Sleep tight, America.
