Winners' reactions from the APM Project Management Awards
This year's APM Project Management Awards lived up to its billing as a highlight in the project profession's calendar, as hundreds of people attended the prestigious event at the Park Plaza Hotel in London on Monday, 20 November.
A total of 18 awards were presented across a range of categories. Judges praised the excellent standard of entries and gave special mentions to many of the named finalists. Find out the winners and their thoughts on the night.
APM Volunteer Achievement Awards 2023 - Winners Announced
The winners of the APM Volunteer Achievement Awards have been announced at the Volunteers’ Forum, which took place at a special awards ceremony in Manchester on 16 November. ?
Sarah Slater, Senior Volunteering Manager at APM, said: “I know just how much effort our volunteers put into our events and publications, sharing their knowledge and expertise, as well as promoting the profession and membership of APM.
“We rely so much on their support and commitment, and I am delighted to see them recognised for their hard work and dedication. I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate all the winners and nominees.”

International Project Management Day
On International Project Management Day, we revisited our list of 50 inspiring projects from the last five decades to showcase the impact and positive benefits that projects and the project profession have on society.

APM Chief Executive receives OBE
At the beginning of the year, Prof. Adam Boddison had the exciting news of being named an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE). Here’s some photos of Adam receiving his OBE from Princess Anne at Windsor Castle on Wednesday, 27 September. Launching Projects in Prism, Q&A with APM Fellow Roselyn Unegbu
Roselyn Unegbu has over 20 years of experience in project, programme, and portfolio management within construction and leadership. She is the founder of Projects in Prism, an inclusive and accessible networking initiative that supports the enhancement of females from a global majority within the project profession.
An APM Fellow (FAPM), Roselyn is very passionate about project management as a career choice, and she’s keen to see women succeed and thrive in their profession.
