First of all, making a stiletto boot of plantbased material has not been done a lot yet. It's a difficult style to make and we had to test the complete new fitting a lot.

And second, the green outsole had to be part of the stiletto boot, and after hearing ''this is not possible'' I almost gave up. Then I found a factory in Portugal who said: ''It's difficult, but I believe we can make it happen''. And they DID!!

I am so proud to not only present the most stunning vegan stiletto boot ever, but definitely the most comfortable one. This boot is made to rush your kids to school, head off to work, dance the night away, run up and down the stairs, and forget you are wearing heels (heel height is only 8 cm's)! I love them!

Not to forget the extra hidden loop on the back of the boot, which you can use to add on your party accesoires, or your car keys.

Why A Perfect Jane supports Animal Rescue?

I don't even know where to start when it comes to animals. I am probably the biggest sucker for animals on the planet. I love these beautiful creatures with their unconditional love and loyalty. The way they raise their own families, and take care of their babies, is something we as humans can learn from a lot. My best life companion is my rescue dog Marly (untill 2 years ago it was Jane of course). When I started A Perfect Jane, it was all about inspiring people to buy something different then boots made of animal leather. I knew, I could only achieve this by showing vegan boots can be of high quality, and by making the coolest boots on the planet. Next to that, It's our mission to make an impact in reducing animal suffering in fashion, by making plantbased vegan leather boots, and also by supporting Animal Rescue for every purchase made on our website. That's when I came into contact with Marc and Lothar of Melief Animal Sanctuary.

Hi, we are Marc and Lothar, founders of Melief Animal Sanctuary

Melief is a permanent shelter for domestic and farm animals, located on a farm with 4 hectares of land in S?gel, Germany. What began more than 20 years ago with taking in a group of neglected chickens in the garden of a residence in Rockanje in the Netherlands, grew into a sanctuary with more than 1,000 animals nowadays. When in 2003 the goat Melief was rescued from miserable conditions, and despite from being neglected, lovingly raised her 2 children Veerle and Pepijn, we saw in her, the perfect symbol for their organization. So we named the foundation after Melief, the goat who regained her life after living in terrible conditions. Because that is exactly our mission: to offer a permanent home to animals, that for whatever reason cannot be rehomed, often even on the verge of being slaughtered or euthanized. So that they can resume their lives in peace and stay in their new family untill the end of their lives. Since then, thousands of animals of all kinds have had a place at Melief, in the form of dogs, cats, chickens (most of which are roosters), turkeys, peacocks, guinea fowl, rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks, geese, swans, sheep, goats, ponies, cows, pigs, aviary birds and a large flock of pigeons. Often one story is even harder to believe than another, from piglets that fell off the transport, to dumped hobby chickens and animals straight from industry. Luckily, when we are able to rescue them, we can finally give them the love and care they deserve.

Melief Animal Sanctuary is open every saturday from 14.00-16.00h and we would love to invite you there. It's an experience you won't forget. We promise.
