Another aspect to this is at an enterprise level API development and testing might be done by different teams and department. So embracing an API test strategy at enterprise level can be more beneficial is the assumption behind the article. Importance of CI/CD and relevance of mocking in API testing is not overlooked and firmly believe their contribution for a successful API testing is massive.
