Apfelwein-Cracker - new Bembel-Bites

Birkenau, October 2023. "Apfelwein instead of water" – that's the motto of the new Apfelwein-Cracker by BEMBEL-WITH-CARE. This crispy snack is the perfect accompaniment to Odenw?lder Apfelwein and the first Bembel product with a bite.

Carefully selected ingredients, traditionally baked in a small factory in the Odenwald: these are the unique Apfelwein-Crackers, made without sugar but with Apfelwein. Like their canned counterpart, they are vegan, and they avoid artificial colors or additives. It's the ideal foundation for "Bembeln" (enjoying Apfelwein), but of course, it can also be served as a party snack. The flavor of the pastry is enhanced by a subtle herbal note, rounding off this savory treat.

The idea for this product came from the Odenwald region when the challenge was to offer a non-alcoholic product alongside BEMBEL-WITH-CARE Apfelwein. Thus, the bite-sized Bembel-Bites were born, which can be dipped into or simply enjoyed with Apfelwein. "We wanted to move away from traditional chips and offer something extraordinary to our Bembel fans. Something that complements the Apfelwein flavor and tastes great, while still relying on natural ingredients. I believe we've succeeded in that," explains BEMBEL-WITH-CARE CEO Karsten Schwinn.

This handcrafted snack harmoniously fits into the existing product range and brings together what belongs together. Visually, the Apfelwein Cracker bag reminds one of the iconic Apfelwein cans: the distinctive brand image of Apfelwein Pur cans is reflected on the crackers. Each box will contain 24 bags – exactly the quantity that fits on a pallet alongside the cans. So, at the Point of Sale, customers will know what to expect: the usual high-quality and convincing work from the Odenwald.

A little fun fact: The manufacturing compamy in the Odenwald, Wilhelm Eberhardt Back & Schokoladenfabrik e.K, was founded by Karsten Schwinn's grandfather in 1931 and is located just one street away from Kelterei Kr?mer, the producer of BEMBEL-WITH-CARE.
