All:    This may not look like much, but this represents the Apache

Flink dashboard.  What I like about this which is superior to Ambari

is one can see a detailed glimpse into the JVM.  The existing

GUI for Ambari needs to be beefed up.  Notice that Flink does

not only use its local JVM but has some off-JVM acts like its

own private cache.  I just downloaded the Latest version of Eclipse

and MVN.  First test is to use the Flink Data Batch API.  For

this experiment I have selected a 9 million record DNA sequence

and for the second test, a fairly decent star database from Astronomy 

Nexus.   After that, some streaming with a Kafka connector.

Work is a blast !!!!!!!
