Partner Spotlight: Air New Zealand
Obama Fever recently hit Australia when the former President of the United States touched down in Sydney for his highly sought after speaking tour. TAG APAC Managing Director, Shane Barr, was lucky to be a guest of partner airline Air New Zealand at the sold-out event,?presented by The Growth Faculty. The 44th POTUS reflected on his time in office, including one of his proudest accomplishments, the Paris Agreement. The international treaty brings together 196 nations with the aim to strengthen the global response to the threat of climate change – an issue the President described, “cannot be solved by any single nation or individual.”
Like President Obama, Air New Zealand and TAG believe climate change is one of the biggest challenges we now face. In fact, the Kiwi carrier announced last year that they would be embarking on their most important journey yet – Flight NZ0.?
NZ0 is a commitment to find more sustainable ways to connect Air New Zealand customers to each other and the rest of the world. It’s a journey to a new era of air travel - one that actively reduced the airline’s carbon emission until they meet their 2050 goal of net zero.??
