AOS 6.7 Hits the Portal! Less CPU usage and more performance.

With the release of AOS 6.7, iSER becomes supported to provide higher storage performance for VMs running on AHV.

The iSCSI extensions for RDMA (iSER) enables iSCSI communication to bypass TCP and instead use Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) to transmit data into and out of SCSI buffers without intermediate data copies.

Prerequisites:

?The NVIDIA Mellanox CX-5 and above NICs are present in the setup, else iSER functionality is disabled. CX-5 is still shipping on new models. Check out the Annoncement page for more future updates.

?NIC Firmware upgrade is done via LCM

?An unconnected port is available on NIC for iSER traffic.

A minimum of 48 GiB vRAM is required for CVM.
