The threat of burst aortic aneurysms could be greatly reduced if a clinical trial succeeds with an endovascular technique that delivers a naturally derived substance to a different target. ? The target is elastic fiber that makes arteries flexible. It can trigger aneurysms when damaged. The substance is Pentagalloyl Glucose (PGG) found in the peel and bark of the Pomegranate fruit. In 2007, Clemson University scientists discovered that PGG can heal aortic aneurysms by regenerating elastic fiber. After years of NIH-funded research a first-in-human clinical trial is starting this year. For details on the discovery and a link to the clinical trial see: https://www.natureoflongevity.com/restoringelasticinyourbody
