AOGV animated
A critical poitn in the procedure of the AOGV operation

AOGV animated

So excited to see a new animation being prepared and going into quite explicit details about how the AOGV actually works. We get a lot of good questions raised when we meet people in the field. How does it work? Basically: "Can I trust this field-proven technology, the AOGV?" Thoughts on a Friday.

The AOGV is now kicking off in new markets and the need for a more detailed animation became apparent. In some areas, the AOGV is part of the new operation and maintenance strategy, but we are still talking to new people being attracted to this new and obvious way of working. And as always: how does it work, is it a safe method?

The new animation is based on a real case actually performed in the field and quite a representative case as well. A passing ESDV on the closed-drain line coming from the Flare Knock-out Drum.

The new valve is being fitted in the above picture and the AOGV blind is sitting below the tank on the drain nozzle - the animated case.

The same AOGV unit has been nicely coated and is regularly used on new installations solving new cases and sustaining high plant uptime. A very busy unit. The above case is the refurbishment of the cooling water system of a running pump skid with several parallel pumps. The common cooling water loop and failed isolation valves.

The AOGV fleet is growing and the mobilization times are kept short. The need to make new customers understand how the AOGV is working will be aided by the new animation.

The way the AOGV work is kind of obvious once you get it. Or to quote one early customer: "It was about time someone did this!

I am looking forward to making the new AOGV animation public!
