AOC-30i liquid autoinjector

The AOC-30i is integrated in chromatography data systems (CDS) LabSolutions, Chromeleon, Empower and OpenLab and the status of the autoinjector can be seen on the instrument monitor of the respective CDS packages.

For the micro syringes an injection counter is provided informing in time about the next check or possible exchange. By using the extended syringe rise options of the AOC-30i the maintenance intervals can be extended (more you find in part three of the article series).

Furthermore, the Shimadzu Xtra live syringes with flexible plunger provide longer operation times and require less maintenance even with dirty sample matrixes.?

Another frequent maintenance work is the exchange of the GC injector septum. Also, here the maintenance intervals can be extended significantly by using the Shimadzu Xtra live septum which can be used for up to 1000 injections.

Additionally, to the instrument monitor in the software the AOC-30i the injector status light informs about the functionality of the autoinjector.

Yellow- Maintenance (AOC-30i door is open)

Red????- Error (e.g. vial is missing, sluggish plunger movement)
