Anything is possible

A year ago I decided to start a new sport, triathlon. Inspired by friends who will recognize themselves, Stéphan, Thomas, Guillaume (RIP), Greg, Oscar, Lucie... But also moved by the desire to go beyond my mental bounderies, especially the age demon.

The reasons not to engage yourself into a triathlon race project are many, real and serious. You are a poor swimmer, biker or runner, or the 3, which is my case :). You suffer asthma, which is my case too. You are not fit. You are too old. You don't have time. All this make it unthinkable.

Why not?

And then you ask yourself this two words question.

Then you talk. To your partner in life, your friends, your co-workers. The project becomes reality. All the limits start falling apart one by one, until you find a narrow door that will make possible the combination of your professional life, your personnal life (I am married with 4 daughters) and your athelete life.

Squaring the circle is possible.

My secret: give it a try. For one week, then 2, then... 12 months or whatever. Just start, and you will eventually do it.

My chance: my wife who supported me all over this process, my daughters who now want to go triathlon inspiring me like hell and my co-workers at Velvet Consulting and WPP who endured my endless conversations about training and healthy food. You were with me last Saturday in Mallorca all over the race, every minute.

Be coached.

As a consultant my job is to coach leaders at some specific moments of their journey: pivoting their business, improving efficiency or effectiveness, increasing their impact.

As an iron man "Newbie" I needed a coach. I got the best. Thank you Greg by this amazing well designed program you built for me, your challenging mindset and productive empathy. I lam earning a lot from you, not only in sports.
