Change to the way you phrase questions.

?

Take these actions TODAY:

  • Use an "or" question that is bookended by two technical phrases to make them curious and reflective.
  • Example: Prospect is talking about starting a side business. You say: "So how are you planning to protect this business from creditors? Do you think you'd establish a separate legal entity, like an LLC, or do you see yourself more likely to put the ownership interest into an irrevocable trust?"
  • The two phrases in this example are "LLC" and "irrevocable trust."
  • Don't make the two phrases overly technical. Just create a scenario in their mind and guide them through either option.

The key part of this question is "do you see yourself."

Present them with two intelligent-sounding ideas for them to walk through in their mind, and help them think through each of those scenarios.

Yeah?

Yah.
