Is There Any New Normal?

Since the eruption of this worldwide pandemic, we all got a new phrase which we started using everywhere. That phrase is 'New Normal'. After almost two years, when the first wave of shock has vanished, when the second wave created more havoc and gave tremors of bad news everyday, when I was grounded at home, when spending hours on concalls using more such cliché words, when expecting to get back to the 'Old Normal' soon, keep on wondering, Is There Any New Normal?

We have come across many sudden and permanent changes in our life patterns since our childhood. Every time we accepted them and started leading the life in the new manner.

At the age of three or four, one fine morning my parents took me to a place where many kids of my age were crying. That was my KG school. Obviously, I also started crying. All of us cried for 2-3 days and then got used to that environment. In fact, started enjoying after few weeks.Then there was Primary school, then the High School and then the College. At every level there was something or the other New which became Normal later on. The biggest New Normal came my way was after the Marriage. Most of you will agree with this. The life literally changes in a big way.

Then why we are so worried, concerned and vocal about this New Normal? Is the World facing some pandemic for the first time? Is there such kind of global disruption for the first time?

No. The human race has suffered many such pandemics in the past. It has experienced many invasions, ruthless massacres. It has seen many wars including the two WWs in the last century. Every time, the survivors have started it again saying, Punahshch Hari Om (let's start it again from the beginning). They worked hard and brought back everything to Normal.
