Anxiety vs Depression

Same words with different meanings or different words with same phenomena. We always forget to describe if we claim to be suffering from Anxiety or passing through Depression .Let us throw some insights on the same :
The scientific reaction ( as per clinical knowledge)both the emotions are biological and both result to issues into neurotransmitter function. Both of these emotions have low serotonin levels ,along with other brain chemicals such as dopamine and epinephrine. But though I do not belong to clinical side of this topic so presently want to focus on the variousdifferences ( if any) . Depression and Anxiety are the two sides of the same coin which we name as MENTAL HEALTH. Anxiety and Depression can occur sequentially and one can define a different mode of moods while experiencing these two emotions.
What are the general observations for ANXIETY?
ü?Consistent Worry for both reasons and no reasons for quite a sustained period of time .
ü? Every facing situations must have something bad or wrong in it
ü? Avoidance of situations which can create anxiety so that the feelings and thoughts do not become over consuming ?
ü? Think about Death
There can be both GENERALIZED ANXIETY DISORDER (GAD) & SOCIAL ANXIETY DISORDER (SAD). GAD is a frame of mind which creates anxiety on anything and everything . Any events , any topics and any activities can have anxiety in it .SAD is that anxiety where a person has a problem in getting rejected or they are fearful of social evaluation being negative. These people are more apprehensive of social interactions like meeting new people. People with anxiety are mentally preoccupied with worried thoughts to a degree which not proportionate with the actual risks involved.
MENTAL MARKERS FOR DEPRESSION
ü?Be Hopeless – Nothing can be positive with them presently and in near future .
ü?Believe it is not worth Trying –A severe state of mind which is full of indifference. Everything is hopeless and thus a little level of effort may not be even necessary
ü?Feel Worthless- Nothing is valuable in life
ü?Think About Death – Nothing is good in this life .They generally has a persistent belief that life is not worth living

Anxiety –
·????????Difficulty concentrating due to agitation or racing thoughts
·??????? Dizziness

·????????Shortness of breath
Depression – ?Difficulty in concentration , focus, and memory fluctuations due to ruminative thought processes or other physical symptoms
·????????Lack of Energy
·????????Loss of appetite or over eating
·????????Moving slowly and talking slowly than usual pace
·????????Physical achiness without reason
·????????Sleeping much more or much less ?
