Anxiety and Panic Attacks Symptoms
Do you have anxiety or is it just normal nervousness? Have you had a panic attack, a heart attack, or was it just a normal reaction to something? I am a hypnotherapist and Energy healing practitioner based in the UK and have put together some anxiety and panic attack symptoms to help you decide. If you feel you need a formal diagnosis, please contact your physician for a referral to a psychiatrist, who can diagnose you for definite. It should be pretty clear from these symptoms anyway.
Anxiety symptoms include: Uncontrolled worry that interferes with your day to day functioning; muscle tightness and pains, including backache, neck pain, shoulder pain, chest pain, heart pain, a constant knot in the stomach, inexplicably tight legs or arms, and tension headaches; inability to take a full breath; a racing heartbeat; sweating; tummy trouble that seems to increase with increasing stress, nausea; lack of appetite; insatiable appetite; insomnia; racing negative thoughts; trembling or shaking; feeling detached, unreal, or frozen.
Panic attack symptoms include usually at least four of the following and last a short burst of time (about 5 minutes to an hour) rather than for weeks on end. What differentiates these symptoms from similar anxiety symptoms is that they are like much more intense. It is very hard to do anything whilst having a panic attack.
A racing heartbeat; chest or heart pain; feeling like you can’t breathe; a choking feeling; shaky arms and/or legs; numb arms or legs, pins and needles in your arms, legs, or fingers; feeling faint; dizziness; sweating; nausea; trembling; intense heat; intense chills; dry mouth; urgent need to go to the toilet; a ringing in your ears; feeling like you are going to die; a churning or butterflies or knot feeling in your stomach; an out-of-body feeling.
If most of the anxiety and panic attacks symptoms above feel alien to you, it is good to see your doctor anyway, to rule out things like blood pressure issues, for example. Whatever happens, once you learn that you have actual anxiety and/or panic attacks symptoms, what comes next is what to do about them. As well as medical help, there is a new form of complementary help available. It is called Energy healing, rather than Psychology or Physiology. Good and well-trusted methods include EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), otherwise known as Tapping, Reiki healing, and Chakra balancing. All are available in-person or online, as sessions or as self-help courses.
I like EFT best. You can learn everything you need to know from beginner to relief, with my online course “Banish Anxiety and Panic Attacks”, at https://www.udemy.com/course/anxiety-and-panic-attack-eft-tapping-course/?referralCode=CBA86327E9BC31621678 – and if you are interested but wish to read more about EFT Tapping first, simply get my free PDF “EFT How-to for You” at my site where I explain some easy EFT basics, https://www.EFT-Scripts.com – of course, you can just help yourself to both. I hope this helps and wish you calm in your mind and body.
