Anxiety and Insecurities leading to Social Conflicts: The new-age Voldemort

Anxiety and insecurities are a critical component of individuals’ shadows overseeing their activities and dictating their actions, their emotional responses and ultimately, their personal (and professional) output a.k.a. firefighting with others’ emotional outburst. That’s real fun. You may take Harry Potter’s character, Voldemort, and picture a situation which makes you really uncomfortable/uneasy and that you do not really want to talk about. Well, that’s your Voldemort.?

The dilemma is not to understand why people are anxious, angry, desperate for attention or in search of appreciation. The mystery would be to comprehend why we aren’t all experiencing that. Life gives you more than enough occurrences to undergo these situations so what’s stopping you from falling into the trap of self-doubt and lack of drive? Primarily, a self-awareness defense mechanism.?

The only way to defeat the mantel of depressive and anxiety traits is by becoming self-conscious of all the circumstances, elements and situations that form your being. Because if you are na?ve and unaware of yourself, what are you good for??

Better to move forward knowing your limitations than moving into the darkness of the unknown like a squirrel searching for the nut in the ocean.

This is also part of the equation for a fairly optimal life: to decompose situations into subsets that are not just manageable but understandable and that can be pictured as opportunities.?

The core problematic root is the concept of “Sword vs. Shield” where society trains individuals to become overprotected beings, scared and afraid of taking decisions and always ready with a Plan B, rather than being equipped with a ‘sword’ to destroy elements than may represent a threat or menacing. Ultimately, we have developed a generation of weak-minded individuals that only think about the ‘escape route’ rather than the ‘path to be walked’.

From a Kierkigaardian standpoint, despair and angst are entwined with human condition. The denial of pain, suffering and despair is a great lie. However, there is a difference between "depression" of spiritually aware and unaware people. One may be spiritually depressed despite having conquered all the material challenges!
