Overview

In today’s scenario everyone feels anxiety and fear occasionally. Anxiety is a condition where patient feels annoyed, stressfulness, strained, restlessness types of emotion in their day-to-day activities however its causes are not so clear. Fear is a psychological, fleshly and behavioural reaction to an immediate threat. However, anxiety is not directly tied to the threat, it can be predictable before the threat can carry on after the threat. It can also come without threat.

As some degree of anxiety is flexible. This will prepare them to face a difficult situation to function properly in real time. Somehow after a certain level, Anxiety may be dysfunctional and stressfulness. After this level, it can be said that disorder.

?What is Anxiety?

Those patients who worry or fear a lot in their everyday activity that type of patients is suffering from an anxiety disorder. Sometimes anxiety comes but that is normal. Patients who have repetitive feelings of worry, fear, or terror that reach within no time that is said to have panic attacks.

What are the signs and symptoms of Anxiety?

As there are so many types of Anxieties are their which we will discuss after signs and symptoms which is as under:

·???????? Feeling nervous, restless or tense.

·???????? Having a sense of danger, panic or doom.

·???????? Increasing heart rate

·???????? Sweating

·???????? Trembling

·???????? Feeling exhausted

·???????? Trouble in concentrating or thinking about anything else other than the present situation

·???????? Difficulty in sleeping

·???????? Experience Gestro problems

·???????? Difficulty in controlling worry

·???????? Impulsive behaviour to avoid the trigger of Anxiety.

?Different types of Anxiety disorder?

As discussed earlier there are so many types of Anxiety disorder some of them are mentioned below.

·???????? Agoraphobia

When patients get or may feel fear or trapped this type of situation is said to be Agoraphobia. In this anxiety disorder, they think that they can do nothing and feel shy in this type of situation

·???????? Anxiety disorder due to medical condition

Due to physical health problems, patients get the symptoms of intense anxiety or panic attacks in this type of disorder. They may feel about to death, chest pain, breathing problems, and a repetitive rhythmical heartbeat repetitively.

·???????? Generalized Anxiety disorder

In this type of disorder, patients have excessive anxiety about activities like routine activities. They also worry a lot in real-time situations. However, it's difficult to control and also affects how you feel physically. This may happen with other anxiety or disorders.

·???????? Selective Mutism

In this type of situation, patients come across consistent failure to speak especially children in schools, patients may find problems in different situations like Social function, work or speaking to the nearest relative.

·???????? Separation Anxiety disorder

This type of disorder is found in childhood when parents or their guardians get separated. This type of separation is characterized by Anxiety that’s excessive for the child's developmental levels.

·???????? Panic Disorder

In this type of disorder patients get immediate feelings of intense anxiety, fear, or terror that may reach a peak within a minute.

·???????? Social Anxiety disorder (Social Phobia)

Patients avoid going to social functions because they think that people will judge or viewed negatively to them. They also feel embarrassed and self-conscious. This type of fear and anxiety that not happen that why they avoid the situation.

·???????? Specific phobia

when patients panic by seeing a particular object or situation and therefore, they like to avoid it. Some people may also get panic attacks. This type of anxiety is also known as specific phobia.

·???????? Substance-induced anxiety disorder

This type of anxiety occurs when patients are exposed to toxic items or withdraw from drugs, they also panic by misusing drugs.

·???????? Other specified anxiety disorder and unspecified anxiety disorder

This type of anxiety disorder doesn’t meet with any other type of disorder as mentioned above but still causes anxiety and a disruptive mind then this type of patient falls under this type of category.

What are the risk factors?

Scientists have found that two factors i.e. genetic and environmental factors help the risk of anxiety disorder. However, the risk factors may vary for different types of anxiety disorder. There are some common risk factors which are as under:

The temperamental attribute of shyness or behavioural self-consciousness at the time of childhood.

In childhood or adulthood, patients may get an exposure to stressful or negative life of environment.

A hereditary problem, like a patient, may have a biological history of mental illness in their relatives.

?A physical health check-up may be required to examine for anxiety disorders such as thyroid problems, heart arrhythmias, caffeine or maybe other substances like which medication the patient is on.

How doctor diagnose the anxiety disorder?

Before you go to the specialist firstly you should go with your primary care physician to ensure that is your anxiety is connected to your physical health. Patients should check weather the sign and symptoms as per the medical guidelines is matching. If so, it matches then treatment is needed

After this confirms patients has to see the mental health specialist i.e. psychiatrist., they are the specialist who treats anxiety disorder along with other mental health conditions. Another one is phycologist which helps patients to diagnose the anxiety disorder and other mental health condition. They both diagnose the mental health condition and provide solution to the patients by giving counselling them.

What are the treatment and therapies options is available?

There are many ways to treat anxiety disorder. However, doctors and patients can discuss which therapy that should be best for the treatment. Anxiety disorder can be given treated with physiotherapy, medication or both.
