Anusuya Karuppayya ' s journey with TQI began during her college days when she learned about the organization from a known person. Intrigued by the opportunity to combine her passion for teaching with community service, she joined the Namakkal team, starting her mission by forming a girls' team at Paavai Engineering College.
Driven by her belief in creating opportunities for women, Anusuya established a dedicated team of female volunteers in Namakkal. This initiative became a personal mission, aimed at encouraging girls to pursue their dreams and break societal barriers.
Reflecting on her early challenges, Anusuya recalls the hurdles in gaining permission from schools to conduct educational sessions. "We approached more than four schools initially, facing scepticism and logistical issues," she recounts. "But perseverance paid off when we finally gained the trust and cooperation of school authorities."
Anusuya's approach wasn't just about teaching academic subjects; it was about inspiring confidence and ambition in the students, especially those from government schools. "Engaging with the students was always dynamic and occasionally challenging," she admits, "but seeing their enthusiasm and hearing their positive feedback made it all worthwhile."
One of the defining moments in Anusuya's journey was the recognition she received from both students and teachers. "When a student wrote that I was her inspiration, it reaffirmed my purpose," she shares warmly. "Teachers, initially cautious, eventually became our advocates after witnessing the impact of our sessions."

Anusuya's growth wasn't limited to project management. She was also integral to the preparation of modules for phone mentoring, enhancing her communication skills and ability to train others effectively. "TQI shaped me into a more confident and capable professional," she asserts. "The skills I acquired there have been invaluable in my career."
Currently, Anusuya works in TQI's Training team, preparing college volunteers to deliver educational interventions in schools. "Training the next generation of volunteers is incredibly fulfilling," she remarks. "It's about passing on not just knowledge but also the passion for making a meaningful impact."
Anusuya's journey with TQI is a testament to her determination and resilience. "When we are deeply committed to a cause," she concludes, "obstacles become opportunities for growth. With dedication and hard work, success becomes inevitable."
