Anticipation?

Anticipation?

In the rural South, I've heard anticipation preached at funerals as the hope of Heaven. In fine dining establishments, it's been the reminder that dessert is still available when you're thinking about dinner.

And when bad fortune befalls me, "anticipation" reminds me there **is** a best and a future in which it occurs. My failure is not terminal.

When we are young and struggling, or when we are still climbing in our careers, "the best is yet to come" is a great slogan. Do you recognize it when it shows up? Or are you always hoping for more, better, gain?

On the day of the wedding, there is great anticipation for the marriage, because the joining of two as one is a beginning: the best is yet to come.

The moment we join the cosmos in the peace, contentment, wealth, and happiness we believe to be our birthright is the moment it begins to come towards us.

Yes, the best **is** yet to come as we devote the same energy to these qualities that we have devoted to our misery! Anticipate the positive.

Thanks for sharing. Sometimes I have enjoyed the planning for an event/celebration, better than the actual even and what that even means. I think I'm addicted to To Do Lists.
