A young woman and her children decided to cover the #spikes put on a pavement of central #Manchester with cushions as a way of #protesting the #anti-homeless measure taken by the city #council. Even though the pillows were removed shortly after, the woman’s action was not in vain, as the council also removed the spikes.

Our #documentary Shelter (https://vimeo.com/192634150) directed by two-time Academy #Award #winner Barbara Kopple registers the struggle of American #veterans who found themselves living on the #streets. The film tells the story of the Northern Californian organisation Veterans Resource Center – vets helping vets on the difficult road back to a normal life after active duty.
