Answers to the test (1 min read)

I struggled in school.

As a misfit in our educational system, I often daydreamed about having the answers to the test.

Perhaps that's why I enjoy business so much.

In business, it's not cheating to get the answers before a test.

The answers you need to succeed are in the questions you’re willing to ask:

Questions like:

•      "From your perspective, what's blocking our progress?"
•      "What will it take to achieve this goal?"
•      "What would it mean to you if we improve this?"
•      "Why is this important to you?"
•      "How should we proceed?"

Consider recent interactions with your leaders, colleagues, and clients:

What question have you been hesitating to ask?

We’re making this harder than it has to be.
