I struggled in school.
As a misfit in our educational system, I often daydreamed about having the answers to the test.
Perhaps that's why I enjoy business so much.
In business, it's not cheating to get the answers before a test.
The answers you need to succeed are in the questions you’re willing to ask:
Questions like:
- "From your perspective, what's blocking our progress?"
- "What will it take to achieve this goal?"
- "What would it mean to you if we improve this?"
- "Why is this important to you?"
- "How should we proceed?"
Consider recent interactions with your leaders, colleagues, and clients:
What question have you been hesitating to ask?
We’re making this harder than it has to be.
Let’s move from guessing to knowing.
