Answers on a postcard please.

Prisons should be for people who committee violent crimes,

But our prisons are full of people with mental health issues many have had traumatic lives they need help and support.

There is an urgent need for much better all round support when leaving prison. Such as "A Creative Holistic Support Centre," we all need to understand the issues these young or older men and women face.                                                                           They carry a lot of baggage, many organisation are trying to lighten their load, but the way our system works seem to be filling their load with bricks. If we want less victims we need to do it all differently. Holistically ...we know this would work, but people egged on by the media resist it in favour of more punitive measures which history shows us ....does not work.

So what are you going to do about it? Answers on a postcard please!!!!!!!

Ryan is a young man who has been in and out of prison for the last 10 years.
No-one had taken time to look at the real issues and emotional turmoil within his life.
Participating in a production with Theatre Nemo has given him a purpose and reason for change.
Ryan is just one of the many young people who need the support to challenge their energy and talent into something positive.
