The answer or roadmap to ‘your life’ lies within you!

Have you ever pondered about ‘why’ you were born ‘where’ & ‘when’ you were born? You didn’t decide the kind of family, country, community or time you were born yet your entire journey of life is influenced by these. In the ambiguity of our future we resign to words like ‘destiny’, ‘fate’ and ‘karma’ when things don’t go the way we want and in the event of things working out well or better than anticipated we credit it to hardwork, evolve a formula for success and many times even thank God or the stars. The universe of social media has made comparisons even stark with winners spending more time advertising happiness & leaving more voyeurs or ignorant spectators miserable, envious & bigger losers than before. Aspirations have turned to greed and the need for respect to ‘envy’ or even worse ‘jealousy’. 

The power of external factors in someone wanting to become ‘happy’ or ‘secure’ depends on new age gurus, the pursuit of wealth, getting an ivy league education, living upto someone elses benchmarks (or ideals) or compromising values and this is increasing exponentially taking precedence over one’s  happiness & peace. If the ‘vitality & longevity of life’ is set in one’s heart the greatest joy & realization of peace is in knowing you will ‘live to fight another day’ thereby welcoming the joy & peace that God has gifted you every day, much like the sunrise and the sunset. 

People are taught to ‘internalize’ or ‘externalize’ stress not ‘marginalize’ it which means rather than die of a heart attack or being responsible for someone’s demise you need to debilitate its importance so that it doesn’t intrude on your peace or happiness. Remember ‘you will die one day’ but be it the concept of living for eternity or the cycle of birth & death or being in heaven, one thing’s for sure, ‘eternity has been set in your hearts’ so why ‘break a sweat & die quickly’? Why is it important to be composed in every kind of situation? Simply because ‘solutions to problems are found in composure’ or when you’re at peace or in a state of happiness. We end up unhappy when we take decisions that require ‘resources beyond our means’ and the reason we do that is because we look at someone else’s life or follow someone’s formula for success or we tend to run with in the safety of the herd but the truth of life lies in the ‘uniqueness in you’ and not ‘you becoming someone else’.
