It's 21 days to October 1! Please can we pray for and think about families today? Lee Kuan Yew of the famed 'from third world to first world' said that a polygamous man could not be loyal to employer or country. I had a conversation with a friend who is married but has affairs with single women- he can't help himself and I'm not judging but it's amazing to me how we can point fingers at others but absolve ourselves. This is corruption!
Vishal Mangalwadi in, The Book that Made Your World goes into detail about why polygamous nations do not advance. Bottom-line, as long as a man knows he can get a newer version, he won't be fully invested and not much happens without full investment. But it's not just the man, as long as the woman fears replacement, she too won't fully express herself. You don't agree? Talk to the statistics!
Polygamy hurts all, but do you know it's not just something our fathers did? Young men are well on their way on this journey- baby-mama's, etc. Women to are doing abominable things. Trust me, I'm not preaching at you. I understand that sometimes it's hard to reason with your spouse, please try. There's so much at stake.
Lord, heal everyone who has been a victim of polygamy. Forgive the pain, shame and bitterness that it has been allowed to bring.09.09.19- such a powerful number combination. Nine, they say is the number of birth may we birth worthy things.
