Ansible session with experts of Redhat

Yesterday on 28th December 2020 I attended an "Ansible Industry Experts Practical Demo " arranged by LinuxWorld India

This demo was taken by none other than two renowned techies:

It was really a great and interactive session . I did learn many use cases of Ansible tower and Automation.

Here are some of the key points what I learned in this session:

1.  In this session I learn all the real use-cases, industry needs, practical demo and many more things.
2.  Ansible is a great, simple, and agentless Automation tool which helps in automating the deployment of various applications.
3. Ansible Tower is the Enterprise Ansible Solution built on top of Ansible Engine, whereas Ansible is also known as the Ansible Engine is the command-line tool.
4. We can use automation for provisioning the os, configuration management, orchestration, devOps and networking and many more things we can do easily.
5. Creating VPC, Subnet, and the complete architecture with Ansible and provisioning an EC2 instance on top of that using Ansible Playbook.
6. In case of any technology is not defaulted by Ansible Tower, we have learned to use the add credentials of such by using Credential type.
7. we can create custom python environment
8. Job Templates in Ansible Tower provides us a way to run the tasks that we have created with Ansible Playbooks in our controller node .
9. Multi-Playbook Execution: It allows to chain any numbers of playbooks, any way of the usage of different inventories, runs different users, or utilizes various credentials.
10. In Ansible tower their is feature by which we get notification on app like slack, what we done on ansible tower, we get notification
11. Ansible tower required minimum of 4GB RAM + 2 CPU + 20GB hard disk to run.
12. In ansible if CN goes down entire automation fails , Ansible tower is used to overcome this issue.
13. Terraform + Ansible = Terrible
