"Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success." - Henry Ford
"The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team." - Phil Jackson
Hello, Big Chiefs (I just coined that term today, and it perfectly suits all the life champions in this community).
Before I embarked on this journey of sharing daily life success tips on LinkedIn, I envisioned it as a passion project aimed at bringing together a community of growth-minded professionals. Like you, I was actively aspiring to succeed in all areas of my life.
Many in our midst follow or dream to follow the typical path to become influencers, establishing themselves as key figures in a specific niche. However, I held a different belief: if you want to go far, you can walk alone.
But if you truly want to enjoy the journey, reach your destination, and even exceed it, depending on your unique definition of success, then you need a community. Here's a fact that many might not know about me.
Unlike most, I'm not active on every social media platform. My role as a remote inside sales consultant demands a significant amount of my time. Balancing this with family responsibilities adds to the complexity. This is why I share tips on a somewhat inconsistent basis daily.
I've received messages offering payment to promote businesses. Still, I often hesitate because I don't consider myself an expert on life and intend to keep this wonderful community free. However, I'm passionate about sales and business strategies, and I've managed to monetize this passion, which keeps the bills paid. So, I'm good.
One of my primary goals has always been to create a community where we can all grow together. Today, I'm thrilled to see that we've grown into a global audience of over 2,000 professionals spanning various fields - from HR and freelancers to managers, venture capitalists, consultants, and CEOs.
Now, it's the perfect time to show appreciation to each one of you by sharing links to your profiles. This way, our members can all connect and, if needed, seek mentors within any profession and also from within us. I also want our members to tap into job opportunities.
We should be there for each other, and I'm committed to promoting individual profiles, job openings, and business opportunities within our community. This will encourage networking and collaboration, increasing the chances of creating jobs and fostering a prosperous community.
This prosperity can be leveraged to attain financial freedom and success, ultimately affording us the luxury of buying back our time or forging meaningful connections.
With that in mind, I'd like to begin by expressing my gratitude to Hemanth Kumar, the co-founder of Wholesaller.com, a Tech-enabled B2B e-commerce and supply-chain platform that empowers small businesses to source directly from farmers and manufacturers.
Hemanth may not be aware of this shoutout, but I believe it's essential to acknowledge the first subscriber to this community. It's been a pleasure to have you here, Hemanth. I'm profoundly grateful for your support and for finding value in my stories.
For those interested in connecting with Hemanth in India, know that he boasts a successful background at Meta, Google, and now with his own company. Feel free to explore opportunities for collaboration on blockchain projects or seek mentorship from him (FYI, it's a social experiment). "https://www.dhirubhai.net/in/hemanthkumargoogle/"
Rest assured, this appreciation will reach all 2,000+ members of our community. I might reach out to you tomorrow personally, but if I don't, and you get a tag notification from me, rest assured you were my second subscriber.
Trust me, I'm committed and resilient, and I'll express my gratitude to each and every one of you, no matter how long it takes, in all daily subsequent editions of my newsletter.
