After cut my exam it shows it's running somwhere in the background.

Hello everyone. I decided to write this, as I really have enough of Pearson VUE and way they brake most of home/office taken exams. At least it happened to me several times since last November. This exam was especially important for me, as I have job interview tomorrow and that would probably landed me that role. Now i don't know.

Another proof that exam was still running somewhere in the background.

Yesterday was a 'nail to the coffin'. I started Cisco exam 200-201 (CBROPS), and first 15 minutes was perfect. Then suddenly Pearson software 'detect', that what's up is open, which was not. I even removed it completely. After several minutes i was put back to first page and had to go thru the check again. Then they put me back to queue. I waited about 10 minutes and exam resumed. I carried on and after several minutes i got this warning about what's up again (what's wasn't even installed as i removed it). Then waited again and i got back to queue again, this time 10th position and i was starting as the first on the beginning.

Then I message proctor and explain whole situation, as i was half way thru exam. He responded, that is just resuming my exam and then everything gone. Exam was gone, no result and page open with survey. When i looked on Pearson page my exam was showing active and stayed like that for many hours, so I suppose something hanged. I called helpline, but obviously didn't get any help, despite spending hour on the phone. They opened ticket for me, and i responded with all the screenshots and describe whole situation. In the middle of the night received score report, but it wasn't there. After couple of hours appeared as failed. So Pearson cut my exam, kick me out from it and then mark it as failed.

It's very convenient to pass exam at home or office and I do understand that Pearson wants to milk as much money, as possible. This is gold mine, but with this should comes proper infrastructure, network and support, which are understaffed, constantly rotated and not trained. Obviously before each exam you pass all the readiness tests and everything is sweet.

Today i had conversation with 3 agents to unlock my access so i can try to pass it today, and still get a change for interview tomorrow, but about 20 times i got this answer:

"I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. I have mentioned the comments in the case that you have contacted us regarding this issue. You will hear from a representative via email as soon as we have a resolution for you."

So summarizing Pearson cut my exam, wouldn't let me finish despite the fact i reported straight away and then mark it as failed. Also no score report. All clock and dagger.

Well done Pearson VUE. Are you going to do something about it, or just ignore it, as usual?

How you going to make up to me if i loose possible job? Who will pay for wasted Friday?

P.S. Please share if anyone has similar experience with Pearson, as I'm considering now taking legal action. Enough is enough.

I lived the same experience today. It was very disappointed and I lost my opportunity and my money. And it’s Sunday, no one to turn to for help. ??

My PMP exam was just got revoked for the second time. I answered 135/180 questions and first time 60+/180. Tried to schedule an onsite for my second round but needed to wait for at least two months. They just don’t follow up and respond. I needed to chase PMI to get response. Both the system and service are really awful. What a evil company.

Digital Marketing Institute. Digital Marketing Institute, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction and disappointment with my recent experience with your examination partner, " Pearson VUE ." This morning, I attempted to take my Professional Diploma Examination as scheduled, but unfortunately, I encountered several issues. Initially, I couldn't access the platform at all. However, after some time, I managed to gain access, and a representative from the examination agent contacted me. They advised me to log out and log back in, which I followed diligently. Despite multiple attempts to log back in, I kept encountering the same error message, displaying "ACCESS CODE ERROR." The access code I used was 328-895-1**. I am kindly requesting that you take the necessary actions to rectify this situation promptly, so I can proceed with my examination. The whole experience has left me mentally stressed and incredibly frustrated. Looking forward to a swift resolution,

Exams are overpriced - this is fact. PearsonVUE is no so bad. There are other companies even more shitty :)
