Another reason for objections (and how to stop them)...

Sales coaches who have entire programs about "objection handling" don't like me much when I talk about this...

If you never want to have to "handle" an objection again, keep reading...

One of the main ways to repeatedly and predictably book amazing clients into your four-figure offers without hearing objections is to go beyond the surface level in your content and include deeper stuff.

When I was first starting my coaching journey I was told that I needed to "give value" in my content to book clients, but no one ever told me what that actually meant (you too?)

So I ended up sharing a lot of helpful tips and motivational posts thinking that was what "giving value" was.?

For 18 months I'd get comments on my posts like "great post," "love this," "amazing content," and while I was able to book sales calls they would all end with objections.

It was soooooooooooooooo frustrating and I had no clue what I was doing wrong!!

Looking back, I now understand there were a lot of things I was doing wrong but today I want to talk about the first issue - the content I was sharing.

Sharing helpful tips and motivational posts doesn't move anyone closer to wanting to buy from you.?

This type of content sets you up as the "friendly expert" who everyone loves but no one wants to buy from.

So... what needs to be included in your content to set you apart as THE Expert and trusted advisor people can't wait to buy from??

  • Your unique insights based on your personal experience and experience working with clients... this is the stuff that can't be found on Google!?
  • Stories to get your market to think differently about certain situations they find themselves in that they DON'T want to be in, what's causing the situation and how to prevent it from happening again.
  • Details of the specific results your market can expect to achieve with your help. If you want your content to PRE-SELL your programs you've got to get rid of the vague marketing!

For example, I'll help you build a "successful" business - this could mean so many things to so many people.

A successful business for one person could mean an 8-figure business with a team of 20 who handle everything for them whereas for someone else it could mean 1 high ticket client per week, as a solo business owner working 20 hours per week.

Two VERY different versions of success!

  • High-level details about your processes and methods so your market can decide if that's something they'd be willing to do. (sidenote: think about the programs you've invested in where you didn't feel good about what you were asked to do, so you didn't do them - this is what we want to avoid with our own clients)

You've got to share enough detail so they can see why and how your processes & methods work but not so much detail they become overwhelmed - it's rather nuanced (want help with this? DM me)

  • And last, but certainly not least, you want to bring up any objections your market might have about working with you and deal with them directly in your posts. (shocker right?! ??)

The bottom line here is don't gatekeep information & make people wait to get on a sales call with you before they can find out everything they need to know to make a buying decision! Share it ALL in your content and booking clients will be SO much easier!

When you master all of this in your content and you're consistently bringing fresh leads into your audience the result is a steady stream of prospects reaching out to you to find out if they qualify to work with you.

All the tech, funnels, busy work, endless social media commenting, DM's that end in chit-chat, 60-minute sales calls and objections fall away because your market can clearly see you're THE Expert who can help them reach their goals or solve their problems.

They can self-select your program as the right solution for them.

All that's left is for you to qualify them to make sure they are going to get the results they want and then to enrol them.
