Another PRMIA Risk Culture Panel!

Back on July 6th, we had a great session on risk culture... this was an initial look at risk culture and was the first in a 3 part series on panels on this subject and also to let more people know about the Risk Management Initiative in Microfinance (RIM).

Questions covered included how to define Risk Culture, How would you encourage "Good Risk Culture", what does the future hold for risk culture and leading to our next session... is there a difference in risk culture in different countries? Speakers were Tom Wilson, President & Chief Executive Officer, Allianz Ayudhya Thailand, Muel Kaptein of KPMG and the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Ken Radigan, CEO PRMIA. I need to go back to Muel Kaptein to get more details on an 8 demension tool he helped develop for Risk Culture.

Speaking of, Ananthakrishnan, he is the Chair of Risk Culture Working Group at Risk Management Initiative in Microfinance (RIM).

RIMs is collaborative market strengthening initiative aimed at promoting and supporting the implementation of stronger, more appropriate risk management in the microfinance sector.?It became part of the PRMIA family a few years ago and we think more people should know more about it.
