Twitch is taking on Short-Form

Attention all gamers, streamers, and micro-learning superstars! Twitch (a platform focused on live-streaming content) has announced it’s adding short-form to the platform. The goal is to get new and current users to watch mini “clips,” to help attract them to creator’s pages.

The shift toward short-form video this fall also includes new editing features that will allow creators to natively edit clips from their streams into a vertical format. Twitch will now support direct exports to YouTube and, starting in August, will allow users to directly export clips to TikTok.?

Much of this testing has already started on Twitch and users are loving it. And while it comes as no surprise, this announcement just continues to reinforce the importance of prioritizing short-form video in your social strategy.?
