British Sign Language
This week in the Team Leader Community we were lucky enough to have a masterclass setting us off on a sign language learning journey with the amazing Spencer C. .
Its thanks to knowing Spencer that I have come to understand that we just don't do enough in our industry to be there for the deaf community. There are over 1 million hard of hearing and deaf people in the UK and all of them are current or future customers and employees - we need to understand just how difficult it currently is for this community to access services we take for granted.
Me & Chris Rainsforth were lucky enough to join in live with Spencer and honestly he is the man ! I defy you to watch this and not get enthusiastic - contact Spencer to see how your contact centre can do more ??

One day or day one ?
I've been sharing my weight loss journey with you all here on Linkedin and I wanted to hit 50 in the best shape of my life.
I started in October and inspired by my wife I joined Slimming World.
I didn't quite make the levels I was at in my early twenties when playing football all the time or when I left Turkey in 2014 but I'm close and importantly through support, information and small changes to my routine I've come to understand this isn't a diet its a tweak of lifestyle.
My aim in sharing isn't to show off - I'm exactly the same person - its to share that what you want (and it doesn't have to be about fitness or weight loss) is there for you if you start - just start. Stop daydreaming about it and take a positive step today - not next week or Monday but today - you are more capable than you think ??
