Another customized RAIN chamber ready for installation at a major Silicon Valley OEM

Hastest Solutions' installation team is very excited and preparing to install, integrate and test the customized Rain Chamber Model HLRHS-IPX1---IPX6-1000 at the customer site in Milpitas, Ca.

The chamber is capable of performing the following tests:

1. IPX1 Effects of vertically falling water drops
2. IPX2 Effects of vertically falling drops when the enclosure is tilted at any angle up to 15° on either side of the vertical
3. IPX3 Effects of water sprayed at an angle up to 60° on either side of the vertical
4. IPX4 Effects of water splashed against the enclosure from any direction
5. IPX5 Effects of water projected in jets against the enclosure from any direction
6. IPX6 Effects of water projected in powerful jets against the enclosure from any direction

Basically, this chamber is designed for testing any product or system that, while exposed to water, will function.

Similar chambers have been installed in Texas, Canada and overseas.

Some of the Industries that require these tests include, but not limited to: Solar, LED, LCD, Lighting, Military/Defense, Automotive, Aerospace, Cell phones, Energy, Oil & Gas, Communications, Paper, Rubber, Transportation, Wire & Cable, etc.

As an example, you may all have read or heard of the cell phone companies advertising that their products meet the IPX..... requirement. These are some of the extreme types of tests they are referring to.

In just a few weeks from now, our invaluable customer will have the capability to perform these tests for their in-house production units and, if they so choose, offer these tests to other product manufacturers (OEM's) as well.
