?Recruitment Manager & Career Coach? Meeting your companies hiring goals with Accounting/ Finance and Operations professionals
You have possibly landed your dream job!
From a phone interview to now heading back to your potential new employer for the third meeting and this time you have walked out feeling less enthusiastic even a bit discouraged.
A three or four step interview process is draining and eventually disengaging for the applicant. We have all been on the other side of the table, nervous with sweaty palms and our resume in our lap. It is important to ask the necessary questions in the first and second round to assess the skills and development of the individual without creating self doubt for the applicant. Skill testing and reference checks are an essential task to complete the hiring process.
As candidates, you take the leap and faith that you have chosen the right company to advance your career and as employers, you also take a risk accepting a new member to your team based on a couple hours of interactions.
Learning to trust your employee while providing each one the opportunity to build your business requires patience overtime. Don't search for a "superstar" employee, provide guidance and on- going training to build a strong leader.
