Another Infant That Will Never Know Her Mom's Love Just Because She Was a Police officer!
Again, Where is the outrage, where is the rioting, looting, protests and so on? Where are those public men of God that are supposed to be guiding their flock? They scream racial prejudice and profiling, Police brutality. I want to hear from them every time a police officer is killed. Let the people know that every life matters because each one is a child of God. That is their calling after all. To share the love and message of Jesus throughout all mankind. To honor your God above all else. To respect their parents and authority at all levels. To love one another and be that shining beacon of hope to all others for the Lord.
Lesley, a 27 year old policewoman, just had returned to work from having her baby daughter when she and two fellow officers responded to a domestic disturbance (where one was reported just a week earlier). When they approached the door all three were injured by gunfire with two later dying at the hospital. The shooter, John Felix, 26, of Palm Springs, was arrested after a 12-hour standoff with officers.

Previous History: Felix was previously arrested as part of a failed murder plot in 2009, and sentenced to four years in prison.
Felix and another suspect managed to shoot their target but he didn’t die. He was charged with attempted murder, discharging a firearm causing great bodily injury and association with a criminal street gang.
Felix pleaded down to assault with a firearm and admitted his gang connection. He was given a two year prison sentence for the assault and an additional two years for his gang ties. He was also arrested in 2013 for fighting with police on the same doorstep where the shooting occurred.
From an observer trying to take in the tragedy of it all: "To see her laying down with her eyes open and to witness her husband in full Riverside County Sheriff's uniform, because he's a Riverside County deputy, and kiss her on the forehead for the last time, it's tough," Reyes said, unable to push back tears.
As a society we need law & order. We cannot function as a country without it. We also cannot possibly have enough police officers and prisons to hold everyone in a society that does not value human life or any other of God's commandments for us. God's love for us is reflected in the boundaries He establishes for us. When we cross those boundaries pain & suffering come almost immediately, just has God warns us it will. When we continue to embrace sin in our lives we inevitably experience a spiritual death which leads all too quickly to physical death. It is God that does not want us to go through this suffering and His greatest desire is for us to be with Him for all eternity when we are called home, but for those that He does not know eternal separation from Him awaits them. With these truths comes both fear and respect for our Father in Heaven. For non-believers or for ones that do not call on Jesus as their savior and seek His forgiveness we can certainly see that man's laws do little to control our sinful nature. That is what we are witnessing in our country today.
We have mocked and destroyed God's family unit, we no longer teach respect for authority and honor for our country, to treat all human life as the temple that God created it to be. It doesn't cost one cent to read God's word and start living your life in a way that is pleasing to God. You can lend a helping hand, you can say an encouraging word and you do not need to be rich to do so, just rich in God's Spirit. That goes for ALL people. Start living God's word not just giving it lip service. We better start caring for one another and stop teaching our kids that they are simply animals and not precious children of God! Don't believe for a minute that trying to raise children in a broken ungodly unstable home environment isn't creating pain, suffering and scars that will carry over for every generation to come. Just maybe we are entering into relationships as animals not the Godly beings that we are supposed to be. We reap what we sow.
