Another Fantastic Year for MCWT

Another fantastic year for MCWT, mcwt.org, in 2017. Much appreciation and thanks to all of you who support this charity. We had another exceptional year....with many highlights. None of this would be possible without our 90 awesome corporate partners, our tireless volunteer members, our energetic staff, and our passionate leadership.

Here are a few highlights from 2017:

• We surpassed $1M in total scholarships awarded over the years;
• We impacted over 1400 girls in our programs this year, vs. 34 when we started in 2004.
• We increased by 50% the number of Camp Infinity camps, our week long tech camps. We held camps in Central, West and Mid Michigan locations, in addition to multiple Detroit/Metro area camps.
• Our 2nd biggest fundraiser, the Golf Classic, set a new revenue/contribution record, as it increased by 35% over 2016. We had over 50 volunteers support this event.
• We experienced growth in our mentoring programs, the number of robotics teams we fund, and the list of accomplishments goes on and on....
