The Another Day...
The weather was dancing and the cold breezes snapped me out of my mind. I found myself in the middle of the journey toward my job, and suddenly the bus stopped at the red light. My eyes started roaming outside the bus and suddenly stopped when I saw her. She's carrying her son in her arms and two daughters running towards cars to cars to sell some bedsheets.
Her eyes were full of pain but she still tried to smile with the soreness in her cheeks. Her eyes left no tears to cry and her face looked like a canvas of a modern artist painted with pain and boycott. Clothes were torn apart and barely held on as she. In the middle of the road where people with high standards and good clothes and smell like money are just passed by like nothing. The difference in society is cruel and the lane between rich & poor is already broken. For some money is status and for some money is necessity. From car to car, she keeps dragging herself with every motion she loses part of her human side and humanity.
Daughters were around 5 to 6 years old, they were so young that their eyes still held onto the dreams. Dreams of living like a human. The son was barely moving, his checks creating a creator deeper than it touched his teeth. His eyes can't withstand the light of the world. His body feels like giving up and he might be around 2 to 3 years old.
Suddenly a woman who's driving a Ford stops cause one of her daughters stands in front of her and she's about to hit her. Silent starts screaming and the world stops for a moment. Mother's eyes lift up and forcefully she starts dragging one of her broken legs which might need to operate quickly otherwise she might lose her leg. She somehow quickly reaches her daughter and drags her out of the road. She doesn't waste a second and starts showing bed sheets to this woman. She looks interested, it might be because she is about to kill a child or she is just bored because of the red light. She started picking sheets into her car with a 2/4th open window. Unfortunately red turned to green and she started to gas the car. The mother started running with the broken leg and begging with a barely opened mouth. Sounds wasn't clear what she wanted to say, it was clear enough to stop the car.
The car stopped for a millisecond threw all the sheets into the road and ran away. I saw women and men inside the Ford laughing at her and then changed the topic and kept going with their lives. Here the mother whose life flashes within that millisecond, how her parents try to sell her childhood, all the days spending in the dark room waiting for life to end, the day she chose life over the body, the day she fell in love, the day she met her parents who are dying of some diseases and begging for the money, the day she started a happy life with the love of life, the day her parents died, the day she births her first child which killed alcoholic lover, the day she realizes she trapped in the worst life again, the day she was beaten by alcoholic lover, the day she realize he's not gonna marry her, the day she realize he wants same what her parents want from her, the day she birth decided to leave him by fighting which give her a broken leg, the day she stand against him cause he want to sell her daughter too.

She held her children to her heart and started praying to god. That god who never thought she deserved a less disgusting life, the god who left her to die in the streets with a broken leg and broken heart. The red light turns to green and I lose my sight of these families.
Fall in love with nature again but back of my mind I still think about it. I went to work and completed my day. I got to walk for 1 km as my office wasn't near to the bus stand. That day I was grateful for my life and asking questions to the god like why someone has to go through it. No answer for sure...the bus came and sat down the seat. It was the time of the day when it didn't lose sight of the sun but still darkness spreading.
Suddenly, the clouds started to cry and I went back to the place where I saw her. I didn't see her in that place which concerned me a lot but the bus didn't stop there as there were red lights. I looked for them and didn't find them. But in the next traffic light area, I saw them holding onto one small plastic sheet and the son who looked so pale and still, holding too. They are holding onto life by thread. The bus kept moving and I reached home to live my dark life.
